Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing account management staff in the continued and increased market growth by negotiating renewals or selling products and services to existing customers, understanding customer needs, and providing customer support. Assist in the development of retention strategy and responsible for the implementation of initiatives. Manage daily operations and monitor department and individual results and provide direction to meet/exceed goals. Responsible for building relationships and representing the company to external stakeholders including brokers and accounts. Ability and willingness to travel including overnight stays.
This is a Hybrid position, working three days a week in Richardson office and two days a week remotely.

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4 years managed care account management experience OR 7 years successful record in managed care account management/account servicing experience required.
  • Current, valid State Insurance License required.
  • Sales/marketing strategy development experience required.

PREFERRED:

  • Ability and willingness to travel including overnight stays.
  • People management / leadership preferred.
  • Prior carrier experience preferred.

This is a Hybrid position, working remotely two days per week and three days per week in Richardson office.
